Overview

Our client is searching for a Financial Due Diligence Director to fill a permanent role in Nashville, TN. This role does require in office work, as well as travel to visit clients when needed, not typically more than 2 days at a time. The ideal candidate will have proven knowledge and success with resolving issues in technical accounting areas such as U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting; an understanding of the healthcare industry and current regulatory environment is preferred. Analytical/Project Management Skills Primary responsibilities for this role include scoping all engagements to ensure a profitable outcome; leading quality of earnings projects and may, at times, a variety of other healthcare engagements, including business and securities valuations, mergers and acquisitions, strategic consulting engagements, and a variety of related projects. On a daily basis you will lead pre-transaction quality of earnings engagements, providing financial due diligence assistance and advisory services to publicly traded healthcare companies, large health systems, private equity investors, and investment banks across the U.S. You will ensure the team project tracking and status documents are updated in a timely fashion; Develop and implement effective engagement communication to clients and ensure compliance by all team members; Communicate all aspects of engagements with staff members on each of their respective engagements; Demonstrate and a high level of understanding and competence across numerous healthcare segments; and Ensure all engagements are on schedule through setting of internal deadlines and communication with team members including both staff and Managing Director. Additionally you will provide insight and direction to team members and the firm by participating with supervisors in training or seminars related to areas of expertise; Give guidance to overall analysis and approach on each engagement as necessary to both clients and staff; communicate with clients throughout the engagement process ultimately resulting with the explanation of opinion/results of the engagement and Demonstrate effective administrative practices in terms of expense management and billing for services.
