Required skills and experience: •Minimum of 4 years of experience leading multiple simultaneous projects to success. •Expert ability to drive the use of AGILE, Waterfall and Scrum methodologies in all technology projects and programs. •Experience hiring and mentoring project managers. •Effective leadership skills to drive projects to completion and strong interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across functions. •Solid technical aptitude and an ability to understand technical designs, challenges, and risks. •Engineers enjoy working closely with you. •Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple, shifting priorities. •Prior experience at an early-stage company required; tech SaaS environment strongly preferred. You are familiar with •Various Solution Development Life Cycles & Stages •Engineering Toolkit: GitHub, Atlassian Suite (Jira & Confluence) •Knowledge & Reporting Toolkit: Notion •Design Toolkit: Figma, Sketch, Invison, Creative Suite •General knowledge of tech stacks, frameworks and languages •Blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, and financial technology (fintech) What you need to know: •This is a full-time remote opportunity with a venture studio company who has successfully co-founded over a dozen startups with both fledgling entrepreneurs and industry unicorns. •Focus on blockchain technology. •Seeking folks from a high-growth SaaS startup in the tech industry. Additional job details: •Build and grow a thriving project management program. •Lead, manage, hold the project managers accountable. •Work closely with the CTO and Engineering Manager on project estimations, and to provide clarity into the engineering team's velocity and capacity. •Collaborate with leaders to create and track documentation such as project plans, dependencies, budgets, key decisions, risks and mitigation strategies from setup to launch. •Provide proactive communication on projects, programs, and results to business leaders. •Drive the proper use of project management processes to ensure the excellent and timely quality of deliverables in collaboration with project teams. •Responsible for facilitating or delegating the facilitation of scrum, sprint planning, sprint demo, backlog grooming / refinement and retrospective meetings. •Support and educate the Product team, especially with respect to refining (i.e. grooming) and managing the product backlog, to ensure that the work is well understood so the team can continually make progress. •Proactively build strong and trusted working relationships with internal and external stakeholders; Motivating the project teams to take ownership and deliver on time. •Improve team performance by identifying, managing, and eliminating team impediments.
