Job Title: Director of Medical/ Surgical Oncology The Highlights: - Level III Trauma Certification by the Texas Department of State Health Services - Silver Performance Achievement Award for Stroke Care by the American Heart Association and American Stroke Association - Texas Health Care Quality Improvement Award by the Texas Medical Foundation-Silver Award Necessary Qualifications: - Registered Nursing License - Registered BCLS certification required. - BSN degree - Minimum of 3 years experience in Medical/Surgical, and/or Oncology unit with 2 years experience in a supervisory/leadership position preferred. Schedule: Full-time Job Description: The Director is responsible for the care given to patients within WSS, day to day departmental operations and productivity. The Director ensures WSS maintains the highest degree of efficiency and safety in providing quality care in all invasive and non-invasive procedures as well as quality improvement, staff competency, inventory control, cost containment, patient satisfaction, staff satisfaction, and physician satisfaction.
