Job Title: Nursing Director of Surgical Orthopedics The Highlights: - Home to a Level II Trauma Center, Idaho’s only Level I ICU, and the only emergency room in Idaho Falls -Achieved the Coronary Intervention Excellence Award™ from Healthgrades in 2016 - The region’s only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit - Area offers a variety of outdoor activities close by, including several National Parks Necessary Qualifications: - Bachelors of Nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing. - Current Idaho Registered Nurse license, AHA CPR for Healthcare Providers certification. - Minimum requirement of 2 years of management experience. - Minimum of 3 years nursing experience in an Orthopedic or similar unit Schedule: Full-time, No weekends Job Description: The Nursing Director (RN) provides oversight and direction to the post Surgical department, Orthopedics Department and Intermediate Surgical Center. The Nursing Director (RN) is responsible for effectively directing the delivery of patient care that promotes the safety and well being of all patients in the assigned departments on a 24-hour, 7 days/week basis. The Nursing Director has a broad vision for service lines he/she is responsible for. The Nursing Director espouses the mission, values and ethics of the corporation, hospital and nursing department and serves as a professional role model.
