Assistant Nurse Manager: Pediatric/ Med Surg Arlington, Virginia Full-time, 36hrs per week, Days/Weekend Shifts We are seeking a dedicated, talented RN to join our Med Surg/ Peds Unit as the Assistant Nurse Manager. This RN is responsible for the direction of the nursing units in coordination with the Nurse Manager in concert with the goals of that unit according to the philosophy of the Division of Patient care Services. The Assistant Nurse Manager has clinical and some administration responsibilities to the unit on a daily basis. The responsibility includes unit administration, direct nursing care and coordinating activities with ancillary departments. The Assistant Nurse Manager reports to the Nurse Manager. Our ideal candidate will have an advanced competency level, knowledge of the nursing process, and consistently meeting or exceeding all criteria of the staff nurse performance appraisal tool is expected of assistant patient care directors.
