The Clinical Educator is an experienced registered nurse with advanced knowledge and training in a health care specialty. In this position, you’ll be assuming responsibility for all activities related to assessment, coordination, planning, implementation, and evaluation of education and training programs for clinical staff. You will participate in development and mentoring of staff, while supporting delivery of evidenced-based practice. The Clinical Educator is instrumental in creating a professional clinical climate and may teach a wide-variety of subjects, spanning from general nursing practices to focused areas of specialization. In this role, you’ll also be involved in patient education processes including development of policies, procedures, patient education materials and preparing staff to provide quality patient /caregiver education. Chemotherapy certification is required within 3 months of hire 4. BLS Instructor Card is required within 3 months of hire 5.
