Job Title: Surgical Tech II (Cardio) The Highlights: - Hospital received the Distinguished Hospital Award for Clinical Excellence from Healthgrades and also a national distinction for patient safety from The Leapfrog Group. - Recipient of the Thomas Reuters Top 100 Hospitals - The only Hybrid Operating Room (OR) in the county; as well as emergency services in a 24-hour emergency department, including advanced trauma care with a Level II Trauma Center Necessary Qualifications: - A minimum of two years of experience as a Surgical Technician - Demonstrated competency in two (2) or more surgical specialties - Certified Surgical Technician - Current certification as BLS Healthcare Provider - Associate's Degree/College Diploma Schedule: Full-time, Rotating weekends Job Description: Under the direct supervision of the Registered Nurse, the surgical team through case preparation, surgical assistance, and after care of operating room patients, equipment and supplies. The technician also participates in unit activities.
