Required Skills and Experience 1. Masters required in Science, Nursing or specialty field. 2. Graduate of Advanced Practitioner Program. 3. Must possess the following licenses and certifications - Certified Acute Care NP -Current License as RN in Ohio. -BLS provider certification -DEA license -Holds current Certificate of Authority (COA) from the Ohio Board of Nursing. -Hold current certificate to prescribe (CTP) or eligible for certificate to prescribe externship(CTP-E) from the Ohio Board of Nursing. 4. Graduate of Advanced Practitioner Program. 5. 2 years of Advance Practice Experience in Intensive care is required. What You Need to Know - This Acute Care NP will manage the care and treatment of patients as indicated in the professional scope of practice and within current standards and protocols. - Will float between hospitals - Will work as the sole provider at one location (receive 3-4 months of training)
